Larchmont Family Profiled In New York Times House Hunt

LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- Darren and Debra Moss, who once lived in a one-bedroom near Sutton Place, then a three-bedroom townhouse in Larchmont, finally settled into the four-bedroom Tudor house they've been looking for, reported the New York Times.

After their first move seven years ago, the Mosses realized they wanted a fourth room for guests, which their three-bedroom townhouse didn't have. A little over a year ago, they began searching for another home, but struggled with several road bumps along the way, the Times reported.

Their house requirements had been met last winter, as a 1924 Tudor house popped up, listed at $949,000, with four bedrooms, a  finished basement and a one-car garage. They had finally agreed on a house that met both of their needs, reported the New York Times.
